Marshall, MI – Some say 2020 is the year of the rat, but the team at BluFish Consulting believes that it’s the year of the fish! 2020 marks the agency’s 20th year, and they want to celebrate by giving back to the communities, people and clients who have contributed to their success, and causes that the BluFish staff is passionate about.
“It’s almost unimaginable that 20 years have passed by so quickly,” said Ryan Traver, President/Owner of BluFish. “With changing technologies, short deadlines, sometimes frenzied production schedules, and late-night creative brainstorming, 20 years in the advertising business can seem like 50 in any other. It’s a very fast-paced industry and it keeps us on our toes, but that’s also why we love what we do. No two days are the same.”
BluFish has been blessed with great clients and a wonderfully committed team. Ryan has been with BluFish for nearly two decades, and has transitioned the agency into a new era of digital communications while maintaining the highest of creative standards, service and branding strategies. BluFish has a clientele that spans the country and a wide spectrum of industries.
“Without the support of our community and our clients, we wouldn’t be here,” Ryan said. “Twenty years is a major milestone for us, and I can’t think of a better way to show our gratitude than by giving back to our clients, as well as to charitable organizations or causes that we’re passionate about.”
Showing gratitude by giving is the driving force behind the BluFish Gives Back campaign. Each month in 2020, BluFish will identify a cause or organization to support with a donation.
William Traver stated, “As founder of BluFish, I am honored to designate Oaklawn Hospice as our first recipient of BluFish Gives Back.” As a volunteer, Bill has seen first-hand an entire staff of compassionate caregivers that work non-stop to support families during difficult times.
Bill got involved with Hospice during his retirement because he had several family members and friends that were cared for at the end of their life, and he was very moved by that experience.
“As we draw closer to our own end of life, or a friends or loved ones, we see and feel the comforting power of faith, friendship and companionship. No one wants to feel frightened or alone. Bill said. “I wanted to do something meaningful, so I first started supporting Hospice by giving my time, and now I’m honored to present a check for $500 to the hospice team.”
Adrienne Solis-Sherman, Director of Hospice at Oaklawn
“The hospice team is so thankful to be a part of such a generous and giving community. Donations, like the one we are receiving from BluFish, make it possible for us to go above and beyond for our patients. I always tell my team that if they put the patients and families we serve at the center of their decision making, they can’t go wrong. Providing exceptional care takes resources, time and money. Thanks to Bill we’ve been gifted both! Thank you for choosing Oaklawn Hospice as the January recipient for BluFish Gives Back. We are appreciative beyond measure.”
The BluFish team believes that we’re all blessed to have access to a hospice team of physicians, nurses, volunteers, clergy and social workers in our community. We’re happy to make a contribution that will help support Hospice in their mission to maintain a patient’s highest-quality of life until the end of life.
