BluFish continues to celebrate its 20th year in business with BluFish Gives Back, a giving campaign where BluFish makes a donation to a specific cause each month in 2020. For March, we put together a unique experience that was raffled away at the Oaklawn Benefit Auction held on Saturday, March 7 at FireKeepers Casino Hotel.
“Being that the theme for the benefit auction was Under the Sea, we wanted to offer a truly unique experience,” said Ryan Traver, President/Owner of BluFish. “We’re really excited for who won this raffle because they won a trip for 4 to Atlanta, and a sleepover at the Georgia Aquarium that includes a sea otter encounter. It’s a pretty awesome raffle prize!”
Raffle tickets were sold at the Oaklawn Auction for $5 each. In addition to covering the cost of travel and accommodations, the BluFish Raffle includes other items like 4 sleeping bags and pillows, BluFish and Georgia Aquarium swag, a suitcase and other fun items like a plush sea otter. Money raised at this year’s event will be used to help support pediatric rehabilitation services and purchase lead testing equipment for Oaklawn’s pediatric patients.
BluFish Consulting has enjoyed a longstanding partnership with Oaklawn and they’ve supported the Auction for many years. Aware of the positive impact that this event has on healthcare services available to the community, BluFish also generously donates their creative services to the event each year.
“Supporting the Oaklawn Auction, both in the form of a raffle prize and donated creative services, not only allows us to give to a worthy cause, but we’re able to provide one lucky winner with the opportunity to have a memorable experience that they might not have otherwise. It really is a win-win,” Traver said.
