Seeking: Digital Ads Manager

BluFish Consulting, based out of Marshall, MI, is looking for a Digital Ad Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience and is ready to hit the ground running with minimal supervision. This person must demonstrate extensive paid social and google ad campaign experience. You will be interacting directly with a wide range of clients across many different industries; therefore, great people skills and effective client management are a critical component of this position. Although a local candidate is preferred, working remotely is negotiable given the nature of this position.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Social media and paid social media management
Recommend social media channels appropriate for client marketing, and guides clients in adopting social media strategies.
Create comprehensive social media strategies, defining programs that use social media marketing techniques to increase visibility, membership and traffic across all client brands.
Write and schedule social media posts on behalf of clients.
Implement and manage social media programs.
Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities.
Monitor social media trends, tools and applications, and appropriately apply knowledge to increasing client use of social media.
Create or work with BluFish team team for necessary photography, imagery or graphics.
Google ad campaign management
Manage, review, and perform daily account responsibilities associated with Google AdWords for a variety of clients.
Maintain and monitor keyword bids, account daily and monthly budget caps, impression share, quality score and other important account metrics.
Manage the creation of large keyword lists.
Provide creative copy suggestions and graphical ad templates.
Manage Display network placement lists on AdWords and through other contextual advertising platforms.
Provide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, display network, and other facets of paid search in accordance with client goals.
Provide oversight and manage new paid search campaigns, ad groups, and accounts and aid in the creation of paid search marketing initiatives.
Provide oversight, manage, and be able to generate weekly and monthly client reporting for all major metrics, goals tracking, revenue tracking, and other paid search initiatives.
Keep pace with search engine and PPC industry trends and developments.
Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance in accordance client goals.
Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels.
Communication to team and management on project development, timelines, and results.
Provide oversight and work closely with the other team members to meet client goals.
SEO and SEM management
Produce ethical and cutting edge search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to maximize natural/organic search engine visibility for the client.
Work closely with clients to develop tailored SEO and SEM strategies.
Conduct keyword research and develop effective short- and long-tail keyword strategies.
Carry out extensive site-wide analysis to identify and resolve SEO issues.
Conduct thorough client sector analysis to help expand and evolve content.
Engage in ongoing research into current and future developments in search engine technology and relationships to continually improve client and agency methodology and understanding of the search marketing sector.
For all of the above, the Digital Ad Manager will be responsible for creating sound strategies, setting up campaigns, managing campaigns, providing analytics, and adjusting campaigns as needed in order to improve results.

Professional Skills & Qualifications
No less than 3 years experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Paid Search (PPC).
Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools.
Experience working with popular PPC ad platforms.
Proficiency in managing PPC accounts in a variety of different business verticals.
Google AdWords certification a plus.
BS/BA degree preferred.
