In 2016, the video that BluFish created for Albion College beat out 500 entries, including submissions from some of the most prestigious institutions in the country, to win the top “Stewie” award at the 13th Annual Association of Donor Relations Professionals Conference.
In the past two years Albion College has worked with BluFish to create several different videos for recent fundraising efforts. These projects have taken our team to places like Orlando, Chicago and Mackinac Island. We’ve been fortunate to interview groundbreaking scientists, the founder of Chicago’s largest charter school network, a successful Chicago businessman who also served as the campaign treasurer for Barack Obama in 2008, the owner of the Grand Hotel, alumni who have made a substantial contribution to the College, and the many students who have been, and continue to be, impacted by this support.
Our work with Albion has allowed us to become master storytellers through the power of video. We rely heavily on dynamic visuals and the compelling, personal stories of Albion students and alumni in order to inspire viewers to give back to the institution that provided them with their college education. Needless to say, we’re proud to say we’ve become experts at bringing viewers to tears.
